Brooks Pinot Noir Rosé 2016 Willamette Valley, Oregon
There are so many times in the spring and summer where you’re looking for the perfect, crisp rosé. This season, my pick is simple. Brooks Wine makes a baller rosé made from 100% pinot noir that I’ve been pairing with almost everything on the floor for the past couple of weeks. Made from a whole cluster press, it has all of the best tart red fruit on the nose and palate (think strawberries and cranberry) with an almost cocoa-powder like finish. It has an amazing florality, too. The acidity keeps it super food friendly, but the minerality is keeping it interesting, bottle after bottle.
